Shane Davies is a Software Architect at CenturyLink. He is an experienced full-stack developer with long-term focus on distributed and multi-threaded parallel processing, robust error recovery, scalable high performance, security, extensibility, component architectures, and object-oriented design. He is experienced in UNIX development using REST, IPCs, Threads, and Sockets. He has successfully implemented big data solutions utilizing such technologies as Spark, Hadoop, and ELK. He was an early adopter utilizing Elasticsearch in 2010 which contributed to several innovative solutions for CenturyLink. Currently he is working on modernizing CenturyLink’s Network Management capabilities by leveraging advanced analytics. He is also a Colorado Native.
