Restore snapshot into an existing deploymentedit
You can restore a snapshot to recover indices and data streams after deletion or as part of disaster recovery.
- From your deployment menu, go to Elasticsearch and then Snapshots.
- On the Snapshots page, click Restore from another deployment.
- Configure the deployment and snapshot to use.
- Click Restore snapshot to start the restore process.
