Shay Banon is the creator of Elasticsearch, the open source, distributed, RESTful, search and analytics engine. Before creating Elasticsearch, Shay spent more than a decade building complex distributed systems and open source search solutions.
Clinton Gormley was the first user of Elasticsearch and wrote the Perl API back in 2010. He is a co-author of Elasticsearch: The Definitive Guide, and spends most of his time designing the user interface, specifying new features, and triaging GitHub issues. He studied medicine at UCT in Cape Town and now lives in Barcelona.
Court Ewing is the Tech Lead for Kibana, and a seasoned front-end architect. He's is the founder of Pub Standards Lancaster, which is the oldest continuously running meetup in the Central Pennsylvania tech community. Court also mentors kids that are learning to program at Lancaster's chapter of Coder Dojo.
Jordan Sissel is the Logstash Creator and Tech Lead for Elastic. Jordan is the lead developer of Logstash. While living in Silicon Valley, he tinkers with computers and practices hate-driven development (working on computers makes him less grumpy). When he's not hacking, he loves doing awesome things as a dad and husband.
Monica is the creator of the Packetbeat open source project, the first Beat of the Elastic Beats Platform and the team lead of the Beats team inside Elastic. She gained extensive experience in application monitoring by working for 10 years on a complete monitoring and troubleshooting solution for VoIP networks that is currently used by big players in the Telecom space.
Ron co-founded Opbeat which was acquired by Elastic and became Elastic APM. Prior to co-founding Opbeat, Ron attempted at founding several ill-fated tech startups, with everything from workout partner matching to power saving software for datacenters.
Rasmus is the product manager for APM. Prior to Elastic, he co-founded Opbeat, an APM SaaS vendor which joined forces with Elastic in May 2017. Rasmus has 10 years of experience working with application monitoring, product management, and user experience.
