Compatible with the latest versions of Elasticsearch and Kibana

Step 1: Install Marvel into Elasticsearch: bin/plugin install license
bin/plugin install marvel-agent
Step 2: Install Marvel into Kibana bin/kibana plugin --install elasticsearch/marvel/latest
Step 3: Start Elasticsearch and Kibana bin/elasticsearch
Step 4: Navigate to http://localhost:5601/app/marvel

Compatible with Elasticsearch 1.0 - 1.7

  • From the Elasticsearch home directory, run bin/plugin install elasticsearch/marvel/latest
  • Stop and Start Elasticsearch
  • Now use your browser to navigate to http://any-server-in-cluster:9200/_plugin/marvel

You will receive a splash screen with further instructions. In 5-10 minutes you'll have Marvel installed. Enjoy!
