Nexios and Fast and Flexible Donor Segmentation at Red Cross Using Elasticsearch

Christiaan Stoffer, CTO at Nexios.com, talks about how they implemented tools for volunteers, a platform for the administration of all 30000 volunteers of the Dutch Red Cross. The platform, built on top of Elasticsearch, will evolve into a new version in which quick and responsive build-as-you-go donor segmentation will be possible. This will provide the Red Cross with a tool to target their nearly 2 million contacts via marketing campaigns in a much more user-friendly and more responsive way. By using Elasticsearch, Nexios helps the Red Cross to work more efficiently, and at reduced costs.
