Elastic Joins Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and Launches Helm Charts for Elasticsearch on Kubernetes

Elastic N.V. (NYSE: ESTC), the company behind Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack, has made it possible to deploy Elasticsearch and Kibana to Kubernetes in a matter of minutes with Helm Charts (currently available in alpha status). In tandem with the release, Elastic also announced that it has joined the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), doubling down on its commitment to supporting and promoting open cloud native technologies, and furthering its collaboration with the CNCF community on future development. Elastic is already aligned with the CNCF mission to promote open cloud native technologies. Elastic builds products in an open and transparent way and supports integrations with many key CNCF projects, including Kubernetes and Prometheus. Elastic also has adopted standards promoting vendor-neutral integrations, such as OpenTracing.

Elastic Customer, Missouri National Guard Cybersecurity Team, Wins 2018 Government Innovation Award for Public Sector Innovation

Elastic N.V. (NYSE: ESTC) ("Elastic"), the company behind Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack, announced that the Missouri National Guard Cybersecurity (MOCYBER)-led RockNSM project has won the 2018 Public Sector Innovation Award. The award, part of 1105 Media’s Annual Government Innovation Awards recognizes outstanding innovation across government in six categories including cybersecurity. RockNSM (Response Operations Collections Network Kit, Network Security Monitoring) is a network security monitoring program that identifies threat patterns in communications traffic. It was built using the Elastic Stack and allows users to securely take data from any source and in any format, and then search, analyze and visualize it in real time.

Elastic Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Full Exercise of the Underwriters’ Option to Purchase Additional Shares

Elastic N.V. (NYSE: ESTC) ("Elastic"), the company behind Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 8,050,000 of its ordinary shares, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase 1,050,000 additional ordinary shares, at a price to the public of $36.00 per share. In connection with the closing of the offering, Elastic changed its corporate form from a Dutch private company with limited liability (besloten vennootschap met beperkte aansprakelijkheid, or B.V.) into a Dutch public limited company (naamloze vennootschap, or N.V.).

Elastic Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

Elastic B.V. (NYSE: ESTC) ("Elastic"), the company behind Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,000,000 of its ordinary shares at a price to the public of $36.00 per share. In addition, Elastic has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,050,000 additional ordinary shares at the initial public offering price less the underwriting discount. The offering is expected to close on October 10, 2018, subject to customary closing conditions. On this date, Elastic will change its corporate form into a Dutch public limited company (naamloze vennootschap, or N.V.).

Elastic Launches Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) 2.0

ECE was designed to provide a centralized and easy way to provision, manage, monitor and scale multiple Elastic Stack deployments, giving organizations the ability to control all their deployments from a single place. ECE 2.0 elevates the control and administrative ease with many new features such as host tagging, customizable deployment templates including hot-warm architecture, automated index curation, and more.
