Elastic is pleased to be named a 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year Award winner in the Artificial Intelligence category for Data Management and AI. This marks the fifth year in a row that Elastic has received top award recognition.
This award recognizes one partner that applied deep AI expertise to help customers incorporate machine learning in a way that met their unique use cases and needs.
5 years of Partner of the Year awards
Elastic and Google Cloud are shaping the future of AI advancements and producing meaningful customer impact. Together, we provide end-to-end solutions that deliver significant results. Our five years of consecutive awards is a testament to our AI-driven solutions and deep integration with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, helping customers around the world tackle challenges in search, security, and observability.
Integrating AI to power next-generation solutions
Elastic and Google Cloud are fundamentally integrated at the product level, allowing customers to build confidently at the forefront of AI innovation. Elastic is the first and only vendor to be natively integrated into Google Vertex AI's user interface (UI) and software development kit (SDK), acting as a dedicated grounding engine for Gemini prompts. This integration enables seamless, contextualized responses from Gemini, using Elastic's vector database capabilities for enterprise data.
To enhance this partnership, Elastic developed a new AI agent for Gemini Enterprise that supports the default A2A protocol and is available on the Google Cloud Agent Marketplace. This allows for conversational interactions with Elastic solutions and the creation of domain-specific custom agents for our joint customers.
Developers now benefit from a deeper collaboration on developer tools to streamline the creation, deployment, and management of AI-powered applications on Google Cloud. The extension for the Gemini CLI and the MCP Toolbox for Databases integration meet developers in their favorite work environments, providing smooth access to Elasticsearch while coding. Elastic has now also released its first agent skills to improve actionable interactions.
In addition to these advancements, Elastic, as the world’s most widely adopted vector database, supports Gemini models as well as Vertex AI's embeddings and reranking models natively in its inference API and vector search. This integration is also reflected in Elastic Security and Elastic Observability solutions with Gemini powering all AI-related features, such as AI assistants and Attack Discovery.
Elastic has become the customer-preferred solution for monitoring usage and performance of LLMs and ADK-based apps on Vertex AI with dedicated observability integration and full OpenTelemetry (OTel) support. Elastic and Google Cloud provide comprehensive tools for the entire AI application lifecycle from data ingestion to conversation generation and from monitoring to automating daily operations.
This powerful foundation of performance and operational stability is precisely what enables customers to shift their focus completely to strategic innovation.
Elastic Cloud on Google Cloud gives us the performance, stability, and peace of mind we never had. It lets us focus entirely on delivering value to our users.

Moreover, as we commit to provide our customers with the best semantic search experience, making Jina models available in Google Cloud Vertex AI Model Garden marks an important step in bringing high-performance retrieval models closer to where enterprise AI applications already run. With this integration, Elasticsearch users gain more control over data, cost predictability, and native alignment with Google Cloud infrastructure, while the Google Cloud ecosystem benefits from access to Jina’s purpose-built, state-of-the-art search and retrieval models.
Lastly, Elastic on Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) enables organizations to deploy Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) directly within GDC environments, including air-gapped environments. GDC is a fully managed software and hardware solution for data centers and edge locations to address regulatory, local data processing and privacy needs without connectivity to the public internet or Google Cloud. Elastic serves as a unified platform for security, observability, and search, allowing agencies to ingest, secure, and analyze data across on-premises and edge environments while adhering to strict security, data sovereignty, and compliance requirements.
The proof: Customer testimonials
Numerous customers have benefited from the collaboration between Elastic and Google Cloud. Below are just a few examples.
WP Engine and its customers can rapidly deploy powerful AI website features thanks to Elastic's close integration with Google Cloud Vertex AI and Gemini, saving significant development time and infrastructure costs.
Elasticsearch integration with Google's AI tools means you don't have to build complicated connections from scratch. You can focus on creating great user experiences, not wiring systems together.
