Today we are pleased to announce the release of Elasticsearch 2.3.5 based on Lucene 5.5.0. This release contains only bug fixes for Marvel, Watcher, and Shield — there are no changes to core Elasticsearch. It is already available for deployment on Elastic Cloud, our Elasticsearch-as-a-service platform.

Full details of the changes in this release are available in the release notes listed above, but the most important change is that Shield again works correctly with Tribe Nodes.
