How Jobrapido Leverages Elastic Support

Jobrapido is the world’s leading job search engine, aiming to revolutionize the way people get jobs. Since it was established in 2006, Jobrapido has grown dramatically – as of 2016 it operates in 58 countries, works with over 1,000 companies, has 60 million registered users, and lists 20 million jobs every month.

Eight years into their journey, however, their previous search couldn’t keep up with their growth, so they decided to make the move to Elasticsearch. And with the search engine serving as the core technology in their software, it was critical that Salvatore Vadacca, head of product development at Jobrapido, had the help of an Elasticsearch expert, which is why they became an Elastic customer in 2014.

In this video, shot at Elastic{ON}16, Salvatore and Elastic Support Engineer Antonio Bonuccelli share what it’s been like working together for the past year and a half – from cluster tuning to helping with upgrades, to Antonio checking in when he hasn’t heard from Salvatore for awhile … just to make sure things are OK.
