FORGE THE FUTURE
HACKATHON
Powered by AWS and Hack Days
This isn't a hackathon where you build a chatbot and call it AI. You'll have one day to design, build, and prove your agent is production-ready. Every agent must use certain Elastic features. Beyond that, the build is yours. Pick a track, find a problem worth solving, and show us that your agent can solve a real-life problem.
Date: Friday, 16 October
Time: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Location: Level 8, 2 Market St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

Your Hackathon Journey
Details
Pre-Hackathon Idea Generation Workshop (Virtual)
For teams that don't have an idea to submit, don't worry, as we will be running an online workshop to help you generate some options!
Idea Submission
- Select a theme from the list provided
- Form your team
- Submit your idea based on the theme, outlining the problem and your solution.
- After submitting your idea, our team will review it. Once your idea is selected, your final registration will be approved.
Submission guide
- Problem statement: Clearly define the challenge you are addressing. What gap are you trying to bridge? Why does this problem matter?
- Solution: Outline your proposed solution — how it works, what makes it effective, and how it will bring value to users, communities, or businesses. Highlight what's innovative about your idea.
- Tech stack: List the technologies you plan to use. Make sure to include how you'll incorporate Elastic — whether it's via Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Observability, or other capabilities from Elastic's AI stack.
Guidelines for idea submission
- Your idea must align with the Hackathon theme
- It should clearly articulate both the problem and the proposed solution
- Be specific about how Elastic technology will be used to power or enhance your solution
