Elastic Stack 8.1.2 released

Version 8.1.2 of the Elastic Stack was released today. We recommend you upgrade to this latest version.

This release fixes three notable issues in our Observability and Security solutions:

  • a bug where the APM Server would run out of memory due to lock contention under specific circumstances and when under heavy load. Users running APM Server versions 8.0.1 up to 8.1.1 are advised to upgrade immediately;
  • a bug that prevents Real User Monitoring data from showing up in the APM UI when capturing personal data is disabled. Users running APM Server versions 8.0.0 and above are advised to upgrade.
  • an issue affected the responsiveness and page load times of the Elastic Security application. Users may have noticed that the application becomes unresponsive on most pages. This affects version 8.1.0. The issue was addressed with a code change.
