Overview
UC Davis is the third largest university in the University of California higher education system in the U.S. Their IT infrastructure covers an enormous range of applications: instructional support, cutting-edge research, business operations, housing, water treatment, electrical distribution, police/fire, and more. Using Elastic for security event management and Elastic Common Schema in their data pipelines, the university can now investigate and respond to incidents in a unified platform using Kibana dashboards.
