How Elastic helps Audi Revolut F1® Team find what matters across engineering software

Modern race cars are data-generating machines. In Formula 1, the engineering work behind performance depends on complex software systems running reliably. When an application needs attention, engineers need to find the relevant signals, understand what happened, and investigate quickly. That challenge starts long before a car reaches the grid.
It's a challenge we know well at Elastic. Across enterprise technology environments, the difficult part isn't just collecting
That's why I'm excited to announce a new multi-year partnership between Elastic and Audi Revolut F1® Team. Elastic is the team's Official Race Partner for the 2026 United States Grand Prix in Austin, building October 23–25, and will become its Official Search and Observability Supplier from 2027. The partnership builds on an existing technical relationship: the team already uses Elastic to support investigations across its engineering software.
From software logs to faster investigation
Audi Revolut F1® Team operates in one of the world's most demanding technology environments and relies on a network of connected engineering applications. Engineers work with operational data spread across multiple systems, with reliability critical to keeping the operation running when there's no room for a second attempt.
Elastic brings logs, metrics, and other telemetry together into one unified operational view from factory to track. Engineers can search that data in milliseconds, surface what they need and investigate what's happening across critical systems under race-day pressure. Logstash collects and processes application logs; Elasticsearch makes those logs searchable; and Kibana provides dashboards and analysis. Engineers can investigate errors and trace issues across connected software applications, primarily in the factory environment.
Increasingly, that same data also provides context for AI. Elastic can bring together telemetry, past incidents, runbooks, and operational knowledge, giving AI the context it needs to help identify root causes and support remediation while engineers remain in control of decisions.
Formula 1 tests these capabilities in an extraordinary environment, but the underlying challenge is familiar. When critical operations depend on complex, distributed data, teams need to understand what's happening and act quickly.
Built to keep moving
Formula 1 is an environment of continuous development, and the software supporting that work needs to keep pace. Every race creates new information, every improvement matters, and teams are always looking for ways to operate faster and more reliably.
That's what makes this partnership particularly exciting for us. We're proud that Elastic is already part of the team's engineering software environment and that this partnership creates room to explore what comes next.
From 2027, as Official Search and Observability Supplier, we'll work with Audi Revolut F1® Team to explore how Search and Observability can support more of its engineering environment. We'll share specific new use cases as they are developed and validated together.
For now, we're looking forward to the 2026 United States Grand Prix in Austin, where Elastic branding will appear on the Audi R26 halo and headrest. We'll share approved car imagery as the team reveals it.
