5 Reasons to join the Elastic Contributor Program

We recently announced the winners of the 2021 cycle of the Elastic Contributor Program. Find our who our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Contributors are and be inspired to get your name on the list next year!

<p>We’re excited to share that we announced the winners of the 2021 cycle of the <a href="https://www.elastic.co/community/contributor">Elastic Contributor Program</a> this weekend at the <a href="https://community.elastic.co/events/details/elastic-global-community-presents-community-conference-2021/">Elastic Community Conference</a>. Since we launched the program last year, contributors have been earning points for organizing events, delivering presentations, contributing code, writing or translating articles, and creating video tutorials.&nbsp;
</p><p>The time and energy that contributors have poured into these activities are the lifeblood of the Elastic community. These community submissions have done more than just bolster and educate the community — they also helped us to address a fairly frequently requested feature for one of <a href="https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/63540">our Elasticsearch ingest pipelines</a>. Thanks to submissions from our community, we were able to accomplish this task much sooner than expected. Additionally, four community-submitted security rule contributions made it into the core build of 7.12.
</p><p>This year’s prizes included Elastic training subscriptions and certification attempts in addition to digital badges. Thank you to all who participated in the program, and congratulations to our winners!
