This is a great opportunity especially for individual consultants working with Elasticsearch. Referral Partners are often system integrators or consultants working with our end users, but can also include our Reseller Partners.
Advanced Referral Partner
Advanced Referral Partners are a level up from the Referral Partner tier. These partners have proven that they truly understand Elastic's technology and have dedicated resources that are capable of effectively selling and demo-ing Elastic. As a result, they receive benefits such as higher rebates and access to Elastic's MDF program. This tier is a great next step for Referral Partners who are looking to further develop their relationship with Elastic.
Professional Reseller Partners
Professional Reseller Partners are either getting to know Elastic or have a distribution-oriented business model. Professional Reseller Partners do not have an initial training requirement, but still have the ability to resell our commercial subscription to end customers.
Verified Partners are becoming more acquainted with Elastic and must undergo a certain degree of sales and technical training. They must also invest time in generating sales pipeline and structure an annual business plan with Elastic in order to qualify for this tier.
Advanced resellers have the most committed relationship with Elastic and are heavily invested in doing business with us. In order to qualify for this tier, they must be able to fully pitch the Elastic story as well as have a deep technical understanding of our technology.

Technology and Platform Partners help us create more impactful and easier-to-deploy solutions based on Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, Logstash, and our commercial products. These partnerships are often based on technical collaboration or joint solution testing, and are typically driven by end-customer demand. Some examples of of these partnerships include the Elasticsearch + Cisco UCS solution, the Elasticsearch for Apache Hadoop connector, plugins with NoSQL database partners, and Puppet scripts for DevOps automation.
These managed partnerships complement the variety of plugins and enhancements to the open source Elastic Stack that are driven by our great community.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Partners use Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, Logstash, and Elastic commercial features as part of their own product. These partners include an Elastic subscription embedded in their own product, which gives their end customers access to valuable commercial features like security, alerting, monitoring, reporting, Graph, and machine learning, in addition to world-class Elastic support from the people behind the projects.
This helps ensure a great user experience with the OEM’s product and reduces the time to market with pre-built solutions for security, management, and alerting.
