Overview
In 2015, Pfizer Digital began building out a data lake called the Scientific Data Cloud (SDC). Earlier implementations of this were strictly Hadoop-based, but indexing content in the lake became a necessity, requiring other solutions. Pfizer turned to Elastic, which quickly became a key part of their infrastructure. Hear Kimberly Butler and Jim Silva discuss how Pfizer Digital uses Elastic in a good manufacturing practice (GMP) environment for indexing, audit reporting, and near real-time metric dashboarding, and how the Elastic Stack has become an integral part of the data lake solution at Pfizer.
