Real user monitoring (RUM) analyzes user interaction with clients such as web browsers. The Elastic APM RUM JavaScript agent allows you to collect performance data about your frontend JavaScript applications. This course provides a strong foundation on real user monitoring with Elastic APM. You will learn how to enable RUM support within APM Server and how to use the RUM JavaScript agent to gauge the users' experience and identify any bottlenecks in the client after responses have been received. You will also learn how to use source maps for debugging minified client-side JavaScript code.
