Overview
The challenge facing the Netherlands Police was to create a central point of all log data for both their infrastructure, their applications and their audit data. To improve access to their logs the Netherlands Police built a Logging as a Service (LaaS) platform based on Elastic's ELK stack. Not only will LaaS facilitate Netherlands Police to fulfill its legal GDPR requirements, but it will also allow monitoring for atypical use of data.
