Overview

In the past, Spring Data Elasticsearch used old versions of Elasticsearch, did not support current client technologies, required manual query and response customizations, and had incomplete features and bugs. See how after major internal rewritings, version 4.0 now makes data access in Spring Data Elasticsearch as easy as it is in other Spring Data modules without needing to know the details of communicating with Elasticsearch.
