AWS
Elastic Cloud Hosted now supports next-generation ARM-based hardware profiles, including CPU Optimized (ARM) and Storage Optimized (ARM), powered by AWS Graviton4. These profiles deliver improved performance and cost efficiency for search, observability, and security workloads. These ARM-based hardware profiles provide better overall price-performance compared to previous generations, without requiring any changes to how customers build or operate on Elastic Cloud Hosted.
In addition, Elastic Cloud Hosted continues to support previous-generation ARM-based instances (such as C6gd, M6gd, and R6gd) as well as Intel-based instance types, including C5d, M5d, and I3en, across all supported AWS Cloud Regions.
For AWS GovCloud Moderate, We are using AWS C7gd (powered by Graviton3 VMs), I3en, and M5dn instances.
For specific AWS hardware and availability details, check the Regional availability of instances per AWS region and the AWS default provider instance configurations.
