The Elastic Cause Awards

Celebrating the passion and devotion of the Elastic community, the inaugural Elastic Cause Awards recognize three projects using the Elastic Stack to advance the greater good in the world.

We are excited to announce our 2017 Elastic Cause Awards honorees.

  • IST Research for fighting sex trafficking and slave trade and supporting humanitarian efforts with their Pulse platform
  • NoSchoolViolence.org for reducing school violence with The Lantern®, a national school security database
  • eHealth Africa for their Ebola-focused call center and health monitoring application

Our winners were celebrated on the Elastic{ON}17 main stage during this year's user conference in San Francisco. Each of the selected project teams received complimentary conference tickets and accommodations for up to two project members, recognition during the opening keynote address, and an opportunity to give a 20-minute presentation during the closing keynote address. They were also featured in several special events at the conference. We are looking forward to doing this again next year and celebrating more of our fantastic users.

These awards are part of our ever-expanding philanthropic mission that is vital to our company culture. Seeing these teams contribute game-changing ideas and impact our already phenomenal community brings immense joy. Thank you to this year’s honorees for the powerful and meaningful work you’re doing. We continue to be humbled and inspired by you. Please stay tuned for blogs and videos from the honorees coming soon, as well as the call for next year's submissions.
