The OpenStack QA team uses the ELK stack for their test failure aggregation and classification system, elastic-recheck. This talk will cover the history of the elastic-recheck system and how it's been refined and grown to include other organizations seeking to use similar solutions for their own QA systems.
Elizabeth K. Joseph is an Automation & Tools engineer for HP working on the OpenStack Infrastructure team. This team handles the continuous integration system and all other servers in use by the developer community for OpenStack. She's worked as a professional Linux systems administrator since 2006 and also contributes extensively to the Ubuntu project. Here in San Francisco she sits on the Board of Directors for Partimus, a non-profit delivering Linux-based desktops to publicly funded schools and community centers in the bay area.
