Install the Enterprise Search Node client using npm:
$ npm install @elastic/enterprise-search
Be careful not to confuse this Enterprise Search Node.js client with the deprecated App Search Node.js client or the deprecated Workplace Search Node.js client.

Language clients are forward compatible; meaning that clients support communicating with greater or equal minor versions of Elastic Enterprise Search.
