As you know, we’re constantly working to build new, awesome features into Kibana. If you didn’t know that, you should get out the weekly Kurrently in Kibana series. At the same time we’re building new stuff, we’re working to stabilize, secure and enhance the features you already know and love. Today we’re releasing Kibana 4.0.3 with over two dozen fixes and tweaks to make everyday Kibana life better.
Highlights include fixes to
- Time controls
- Tooltips
- Visualization legends, labels and axis
- Table field formatting
- Elasticsearch timeouts
- Elasticsearch Shield behavior
- A dozen other, less noticeable, bits
We also undertook an extensive string sanitization audit and identified a few potential security issues worth fixing. For details see our Security Status page. We strongly encourage everyone to upgrade to Kibana 4.0.3, and to stay tuned to this blog for more in the near future!
