Elastic{ON} Tour 2018: We're Taking the Elasticsearch User Conference on the Road

Join us in one of 30 cities around the world for an Elastic{ON} event tailored to your Elasticsearch journey. Find an event near you.

It has been truly humbling to spend time with everyone who has had the chance to attend Elastic{ON}, the Elasticsearch user conference, in San Francisco over the last four years. At these events, we’ve had the opportunity to interact with our community members, share our vision for the Elastic Stack, and see users from all over the world collaborate to solve complex use cases with our products. There really is nothing like it, and these events represent what Elastic is all about.

So I am extremely proud to announce that for the foreseeable future, instead of hosting a single annual user conference each year, we will be bringing Elastic{ON} Tour directly to our users in 30+ cities around the world.

Similar to our decision to open the code of X-Pack to enhance collaboration and improve the user experience with our products, we’ve been thinking about how to make the Elastic{ON} experience more accessible to our growing global community. Doubling down on taking Elastic{ON} on the road matches our company’s distributed culture, and it lives up to one of our core values of being there for our users, wherever they are.

If you’ve been to an Elastic{ON} event before, we’ll have many of the things attendees love. Elastic engineers, partners, and users from within your local community will be there. The Ask Me Anything booth will be open throughout every event. We’ll also be flying in tech and product leads so you can talk to the creators of Canvas, Elasticsearch SQL, machine learning, Beats, Elastic APM, Elastic Site Search, Elastic App Search, and much more.

Based on your input, we’re expanding our Community Grants program and creating new demos so you can get hands on with all the latest features. Every attendee will receive a free on-demand training in security, machine learning, or Elastic Cloud Enterprise. And we’ll have two-day, hands-on trainings during the week of each event as well. So whether you’re just getting started or working towards becoming an Elastic Certified Engineer, you’ll leave Elastic{ON} Tour ready to take the next step in your Elasticsearch journey.

I look forward to seeing you on the open road.
