As an Outbound SDR, you will further develop your strong technical sales skill set, add immediate and direct value to our revenue growth, and have the opportunity to grow your career at a company that is revolutionizing big data, search and analytics.</p> <p><strong>Our Ideal Candidate</strong></p> <p>We are looking for creative, high-energy professionals driven to help develop new business in this fast-paced market. You are a self-starter with a track record of success in your professional and academic or personal life. You are a competitive individual performer who thrives within a team environment. You must be passionate, articulate with an inspired and optimistic vision that wins over colleagues, customers, and business partners alike with your effective communication skills. In addition, you have the following attributes:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of sales or sales development experience in technology space</li> <li>Past experience in high-volume outbound sales prospecting</li> <li>Demonstrated success in meeting monthly targets</li> <li>Strong understanding of the big data, search and analytics landscape</li> <li>Ability to listen to and understand customer use case and vision to help guide them on their Elasticsearch journey</li> <li>Fluency in German</li> <li>Excellent written skills and naturally articulate</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generate new business opportunities to fuel Elasticsearch growth in strategic accounts</li> <li>Work closely with territory managers and sales directors to develop account planning and strategies</li> <li>Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. finding appropriate contacts, connecting dots and tailored messaging)</li> <li>Multi-channel outreach and engagement with new and existing prospects through creative strategies to generate and increase interest in Elastic products</li> <li>Conduct high-level conversations with Dev/Ops and Executives in target accounts</li> <li>Attend and staff Elastic events and relevant conferences</li> <li>Achieve or exceed monthly targets of qualified opportunities and won business</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay and benefits</li> <li>Stock options</li> <li>Catered lunches, snacks, and beverages in most offices</li> <li>An environment in which you can balance great work with a great life</li> <li>Passionate people building great products</li> <li>Distributed-first company with employees in over 30 countries, spread across 18 time zones, and speaking over 30 languages!
