This role will be based out of our San Francisco, CA or Mountain View, CA offices.</p> <h3>What You Will Do:</h3> <p>You will lead Order Operations and develop the global Sales Order Analyst team. Order Operations works as the bridge between sales and finance, working together to structure deals and, overall, help Elastic grow its business.</p> <p>You will be a driver in sales enablement as it pertains to educating sales reps on policy changes, nuances to each global subsidiary, and strategic thinking on how to structure deals to best help Elastic and our customers thrive.</p> <p>In addition, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Review and book orders</li> <li>Work directly with sales reps to structure deals</li> <li>Address and resolve customer requests (both financial and support related)</li> <li>Drive process and operational improvements</li> <li>Implement Finance and Sales policies throughout contracting cycle</li> <li>Manage and execute financial reconciliations / period-end close activities</li> <li>Maintain and improve CRM data-quality through processes and systematic improvements</li> <li>Lead CRM system enhancement projects from crafting requirements through UAT and go-live</li> <li>Be able to thrive and adapt in a highly distributed business structure across multiple geographies</li> </ul> <h3>Who You Are:</h3> <p>You have the proven ability to develop and run a global team (ideally for 2+ years) and structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft recommendations and results into easily digestible messages, communications, and executive presentations.</p> <p>You are highly collaborative, know how to influence others, and can adjust to new demands on the fly and with a sense of urgency.</p> <p>In addition, you have:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of meaningful experience in sales operations</li> <li>Bachelor's or Master Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience</li> <li>Strong communication, relationship building, presentation, conflict resolution, and business analysis skills</li> <li>Organization skills and a detailed management approach</li> <li>Proficiency with internal and external resources</li> <li>A self-starter initiative to suggest, create and see activities to completion</li> <li>Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills</li> <li>Robust project management skills</li> </ul> <h3>Additional Benefits:</h3> <ul> <li>Competitive pay based on the work you do here and not your previous salary</li> <li>Stock options</li> <li>Global minimum of 16 weeks of paid parental leave (moms and dads)</li> <li>Generous vacation time and one week of volunteer time off</li> <li>An environment in which you can balance great work with a great life</li> <li>Your age is only a number.
