The Elastic family unites employees across 30+ countries into one coherent team, while the broader community spans across over 100 countries.</p> <p>The Logstash team is looking for an Integrations Developer to build out integrations between industry leading technologies and the Elastic Stack. If you have a development background in both Ruby and Java, and find working on complex backend technology interesting, this could be the opportunity for you! You’ll work with the Elastic Stack, and a broad variety of tools to solve problems for a diverse set of users and use cases.<br><strong><br>What You Will Do</strong></p> <p>Your main responsibilities in this position will be the creation and improvement of custom Logstash plugins and modules. A typical task might be the creation of a new plugin to integrate with a specific technology. This plugin would be built using either JRuby or Java. Another common task would be the creation of a Logstash module encapsulating configurations and dashboards for a given technology.</p> <p>Other common tasks pertain to our vast ecosystem of existing plugins, which we constantly work on to both maintain and improve. Tasks might include tracing a hard to find memory leak, researching more efficient ways to work with a given protocol, or building a new feature that our users want.</p> <p>Much of the work we deliver on Logstash and within the plugin ecosystem is open source.
